Morris David Reynolds, 66, of Palatka, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Compassion and Healthcare in South Daytona following an extended illness. A native of Rockledge, he resided in Putnam County for 46 years coming from Brevard County. David worked at Florida Power and Light Company and retired after 30 years of service and was a member of the IBEW. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Palatka. David enjoyed fishing and hunting and was a member of Roy Road Hunting Club for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Libby Reynolds and a sister, Karen Reynolds Oliver.
David is survived by his son Troy Reynolds of Hollister and a precious granddaughter he dearly loved, Anniston Reynolds.
Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Johnson-Overturf Funeral Home in Palatka. Private burial with the family will take place at a later time with Dr. Kirby Kennedy officiating.
